Grade 8 students taught 5th grade students about bystanders and figurative language. Students met in groups of 4-5 during WIN time and were divided among both the 5th and 8th grade classrooms.

All students during WIN time have been decorating their homeroom doors in honor of an inspirational African American person. Students have researched and worked as a team to decorate their door to meet certain criteria. The doors will be judged by a panel on Tuesday, February 14th and the winning door will receive a prize.
