🚀 March Classroom Spotlight: Science Egg Drop Competition! 🥚
March has been filled with exciting classroom activities, and one of the highlights was our Physics Class Science Egg Drop Competition! With the help of our amazing local fire department, students put their engineering skills to the test as eggs were dropped from various heights to see which designs could withstand the fall.
We had many creative and unique entries, each carefully designed to protect the fragile egg. But in the end, only two students emerged victorious with their winning engineering designs—Matias Vila and Greta Baerlund! 🏆🎉
Congratulations to Matias and Greta for their impressive problem-solving and innovative thinking. A huge thank you to all participants, our local fire department, and especially Mr. Messinger for organizing this fantastic physics hands-on science activity and competition! Your dedication to making learning exciting and engaging is truly appreciated. 🚀🔬👏
📣 Mrs. Reese, Matias, Mr. Messinger, and Greta👏
🎉 More March Classroom Activities! 🎉
March has been packed with exciting learning experiences, and another highlight was Pi Day (March 14)! 🥧➗
Our amazing Math Department took this special day to elevate learning with fun activities involving “pie” and calculations. Students put their math skills to the test while enjoying some delicious treats!
A huge shoutout to our Pi Day champion, Julia Chesman, who amazed everyone by memorizing all 107 digits of Pi! 🤯👏 What an incredible feat of memory and dedication!
Thank you to our Math Department (Ms. Cordiello and Mrs. Nardini) for making learning both educational and fun, and to all our students who participated in the Pi Day festivities! 🎉📏🔢
Congratulations to our very own senior, Shealey Peck!
Shealey Peck, has been awarded the prestigious Mercer Heritage Scholarship!
Only the top 20% of accepted students at Mercer University are invited to apply for this highly competitive scholarship. Shealey not only completed a rigorous interview process but also submitted a compelling essay titled "Live Like You Were Dying."
Her outstanding performance in both the interviews and her essay earned her the full amount of the scholarship—an honor typically awarded to just 1% of applicants. This means Shealey has secured a full tuition ride to Mercer University!
Way to go, Shealey—we are so proud of you!

SHARK TANK CLASSROOM EDITION
Students took on the roles of entrepreneurs in an exciting Shark Tank-style project, working in teams to develop innovative ideas and pitch them to a panel of teacher "investors." Each group showcased creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration as they presented their projects with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Every team delivered a spectacular pitch, making it a tough decision for our evaluators. A huge round of applause to all students for their hard work and dedication! Special thanks to Mr. Lanier for organizing and guiding this engaging and inspiring project. Well done, everyone!
