Please make sure that you are connected to your child's grades through Campus Parent. You will receive "live updates" with grades and attendance each time there is an update. Also, make sure that you are connected with your child's teacher by downloading the Thrillshare app. We want you to be informed and engaged! Teachers will send messages through "rooms" to all parents on a weekly basis, so please let us know if you are not connected.

We would like to remind everyone that our tardy bell rings at 7:55am every morning. If you arrive after that time, please make sure that you enter the front office to sign your child in. Please do every effort to make sure that your child arrives before the tardy bell each day! Every minute counts!

Also, breakfast ends everyday at 7:50am. If your child desires to eat breakfast, please make sure they arrive before 7:50am.

Greetings Tigers Community,

We are off to a great start to the 2024-2025 school year! I am sending you this communication to share some updates with a new math curriculum that we have implemented this school year. Every student on our campus is using a math curriculum called, SAVAAS: Envisions. This curriculum has a workbook component and an electronic component. It is recommended that teachers require all labeled workbooks to remain in the school building to ensure that students do not lose their book. If a teacher is assigning specific practice at home, or for a planned absence, specific pages should be torn out of the book and sent home versus sending the full workbook home just because accidents may happen with kids. Assigning electronic content from the textbook is also an option. If for any reason a book is sent home outside of my recommendation and lost/damaged, the cost of these books to be replaced are $79.00. If for any reason your child transfers to another school in the district, we will send that same book with your child to their newly enrolled school via our school mailing system. Please make sure you are mindful of this expectation and procedure so that no cost has to be accrued for any of our families.

Also, while I attempt to keep an open door with all of our families in the building, do understand that the teacher/parent relationship is one that I champion for as a school leader. While our transition from Classdojo to Thrillshare has not gone as smooth as we initially desired, I am still confident that we can get everyone transitioned by the end of this semester. Both of my assistants are working tirelessly to ensure that teachers have a good understanding of the new system and that all families are connected. Every parent should be able to communicate directly with their child's teacher and every teacher should be able to communicate directly with their students' parents.
