From Mrs Tennenbaum

We are looking forward to an exciting week ahead. It is Right to Read Week, Book Fair, Literacy Night and the APEX fun run! The building is transforming to everything dragons! We hope to see on families on Tuesday night for Literacy Night. We want to encourage a love of reading for our students, our staff and our families! As we end 3rd quarter and we are in the final quarter of the school year (so hard to believe), we want to continue to set high expectations for academic growth, behavior and our ROAR expectations. We have a lot of fun planned but we also need to keep our sights on the goals we have set for our students! Thank you for your continued partnership at Fairfield!

Dental News from the School Nurse:

The Smiles Program Mobile Dentist is coming to Fairfield Elementary on Tues.,

April 7 and Wed., April 8, 2026!

Dental care remains the greatest unmet health need among U.S. children. Over

50% of children have a cavity, which can cause pain leading to missed school.

Enrollment forms were sent home with your child around March 6, 2026. To take

advantage of this convenient opportunity and have your child see the dentist at

school, please completely fill out and sign the enrollment form and return it to the

school with your child. If you do not receive a form, please contact the school

and ask for one to be sent home with your child.

Please note that this program is OPTIONAL.

You can also go online to enroll your student in this program. See the link below:

www.myschooldentist.com

Together, we can keep our children healthy, in school, and learning!

In good dental health,

Tami Tackett, RN, BSN, LSN

School Nurse
