Friday, October 10th: End of the first quarter

Tutoring Available: Mrs. Summitt and student mentors will offer after-school tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30–4:30 in Room 233. Students and parents interested should complete this form to request more information.

We are excited to be using Minga, our school’s behavior and communication platform. Minga allows us to celebrate student success, share important updates, and keep families connected to what’s happening at school.

Parents: Please keep an eye on your email for regular updates about how your student is doing at school. This is a great way to stay informed and celebrate their progress.

Students: Be sure to check the Minga live feed often for upcoming events, announcements, and celebrations happening here at school.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) will be visiting SHS on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

• Jacket Time: UALR will host a session for interested students.

• Lunch Time: Representatives will also be available in the cafeteria during A, B, and C lunches.
