Hello Bulldog Families.

This week, BHS operated on a regular bell schedule, but many students were busy taking the mandated End of Course exams. Please encourage your students to attend school every day. This helps us and your students stay on track during this busy, end-of-the-year season!

We would like to extend best wishes to our DECA students who will be leaving this weekend to compete at the national level! It’s exciting to see our students face the challenges at this level and are looking forward to updating everyone on their experience.

A lot is happening fast, so please skim through the Important Notes and the Take Note sections. The prom spirit week information is contained in the flyer below.

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

In service to our Bulldogs.

Hello, Families.

What a busy couple weeks with testing! The students are hanging in there and doing a great job with their EOC’s. One more week to go as we get into the last week of April.

As always, please remind your student drivers to be careful arriving and leaving school. Please pay attention to our teachers/SRO’s navigating the crosswalks and intersections.

If a student gets their driver’s license and would like to purchase a parking pass, they will need to see me. PaySchools, for parking passes only, has been turned off for the remainder of the year.

Have a great weekend.

Joe Moorehead, Dean of Students

Please Take Note of the Following: Please Take Note of the Following:

  • Attention: please check your student’s school fees and cafeteria fee balances. Students attending prom must have all fees paid. Also, all seniors must settle their outstanding balances, not only for prom, but also to receive their physical diplomas. Take care of these fees soon. Thank you.

The FAFSA Application is still Open!!!!

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for students entering or attending college for the 2026-27 academic year is up and running! Any student that is thinking about attending any type of education/training after high school should complete the FAFSA - technical school, trade school, community college, public university, or private university. The FAFSA is what determines your eligibility for student loans, grants, work-study, and scholarships - thus, it is VERY important that you complete and submit it. Keep in mind, all students are eligible for student loans! We will continue to share information and helpful resources with you and your family as we receive it!

  • The Ohio Department of Higher Education would like to share that the 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available for all families to complete. Families who want to start filling out the FAFSA now can start the process at studentaid.gov.

  • For additional assistance with FAFSA completion, please visit itsforyou.org, and look under the “Looking for FAFSA Help?” section for more information
