Greetings, LMS Families!

Our students have worked incredibly hard throughout these first 10 weeks of school! As we prepare to head into Fall Break, we want to share a few heartfelt thanks to our amazing community.

First, thank you so much for your overwhelming generosity during our Great Days of Service Food Drive—because of your donations, we were able to deliver over 262 pounds of food and essential items to the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry to support local families in need! We also want to thank you for ensuring our Mustangs arrived on time, rested, and prepared for their District Interim Assessments this past week. Your support at home truly makes a difference.

Finally, join us in congratulating Mrs. Bryant, our Theatre Director, and our 8th-grade theatre students on an amazing performance in their fall production, The Night of the Macabre! Our students showcased incredible talent on stage, and it was an absolute joy to see their hard work shine.

Tips for Families Tips for Families

A few quick ideas for supporting your middle schooler at home this week:

  • Help your student set goals. Encourage your child to identify something they'd like to accomplish, break it into smaller steps, and think about how to overcome possible obstacles.

  • Teach your child to evaluate online information. Encourage your student to check who created a website, whether the information is reliable, and when it was last updated before trusting or sharing it.

  • Make time to laugh together. Share a funny story, watch something amusing, or enjoy a few jokes. Finding humor in everyday moments can strengthen your relationship with your child.
