Main Street Roar

Hello Main Street Family,

Thank you to all the parents and families who came out today to support our annual Walk for the Cure! 💗

A special shout-out to the STEM Academy Drumline for energizing our event and to Ms. Sierra for spearheading this important tradition each year. Your leadership and dedication make a difference!

Our Lollipop Sale will continue through October 30th.
🍭 All proceeds will be donated to support a Breast Cancer Survivor.

🕒 Before & Aftercare Program

Our Before and Aftercare Program will begin on Monday, October 27th.
Letters were distributed to parents whose students have been accepted to participate.

• Before Care: Monday–Friday at 7:30 AM

• Aftercare: Monday–Thursday from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

All students must be picked up by 6:00 PM.

📅 Attendance Matters!

Aww man! Our attendance rate has dropped from last week.
Currently, 73% of students are attending school 90% or more of the time—down from 80%.
Our goal is to reach 90%!

Here’s how you can help:
✅ Make sure your child arrives on time each morning.
✅ Avoid early dismissals whenever possible.
✅ Remember—every minute of instruction counts!

Together, we can help every student reach their full potential.

With gratitude,
Ms. Darnell Medley
Principal

Parents and Guardians:

Chromebooks or other technological devices are used in class for students to complete assignments and assessments.. Students may not download games, wallpapers or participate in video group discussions. Improper use of technology could result in the student losing privileges of using the school's device.

Today at Main Street Elementary, our students and staff proudly participated in our Annual Main Street Walk for the Cure! 💗

Students and staff contributed $1 to dress down in pink and white to show their support for breast cancer awareness.

We were thrilled to have news media, the Upland Borough Police Department, and our amazing parents along the parade route cheering us on!

A special thank-you to STEM Academy’s Drumline for leading our students and filling the air with excitement and school spirit! 🎶

Parents:

Please refrain from making u turns in the car line during dismissal. The safety of our children and parents is of utmost importance to us. We would like to move the cars through the line without any disruptions.
