Hello everyone, our second to last week was filled with lots of goings on! Monday brought a visit from Morphs and Milestones. They are a business in Francestown that takes in surrendered or rescued animals, which they bring to schools for educational purposes. Students loved learning about the snakes and especially loved the orange corn snake named "Cheetoh."
It was wonderful to see everyone here last night for the Spring Music Concert. Music Teacher Jackie Neilssen coordinated an amazing performance including musical instruments and song! Volkert Volkersz' accompaniment with the Peace Pole Song and This Little Light of Mine was so sweet. We are looking forward to taking part in the process of the Peace Pole installation and have enjoyed learning this song. The students did an outstanding job!

Ending the week with a hike to the Dublin Baseball Field for a kickball game was such fun!

Next week's trip to the Seacoast Science Center will be a lovely trip! Please be sure you read the flier sent home for all the needs for the day.

I am hoping you will take some time to complete this survey that will help us plan for next year and beyond. Thank you! DCS Parent Survey

Enjoy this weekend, Nicole

A message from Pam Murphy, RN DCS School Nurse

Recently, there have been numerous student requests for cough drops. As cough drops are considered medication, I am asking for your help in following the ConVal policy on medication administration at the elementary level. To do this, any medication, including cough drops, must be delivered to the school by a parent/guardian or their designated responsible adult in the original container. A written permission form is also required which is available at DCS.

Please reach out to me at pmurphy@conval.edu if you have any questions.
