The Oceanport School District utilizes the Genesis Parent Portal system. You will receive an automated link to login to the portal sometime in early August. Once logged in, you will be prompted to fill out the back to school forms. Please note that those forms must be filled out in order to see your child's teacher for the upcoming school year. If you are having difficulty or need assistance, please contact the help desk by emailing genesishelp@oceanportschools.org or contact Mrs. Tomaino in the main office at 732-542-0683 X2110.

Drop Off Reminders Drop Off Reminders

In order to maintain an orderly drop off each morning, please ensure that the following protocols are followed:

1) The drop off lane is located in front of the Wolf Hill gymnasium and outside Door #11. Staff will be on site to assist your child out of the car. We ask that you please do not get out of your car while in the drop lane. This slows the flow of traffic. If you feel the need to get out of the car, then you must park in the parking lot and walk your child up.

2) The Doors open at 8:35 AM. Please do not arrive more than five minutes early. Clogging the drop off lane can cause traffic backups on Wolf Hill Avenue.

3) Students may enter through Door #11 where the ramp is located or through the main entrance at Door #1

Additional Information of Note Additional Information of Note

❏ Walkers and Parent Pickup will be dismissed out various doors by grade level.

  1. Kindergarten Walkers are dismissed out Door #2. The exit door located at the far end of the Wolf Hill bus loop.

❏ Parents picking up MUST bring PHOTO ID with them when picking up their child early. SECURITY STAFF WILL REQUIRE YOU TO SHOW PHOTO ID.

❏ Please note that BOTH bus loops should remain cleared of all cars from 8:15 AM - 8:35 AM and 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM each morning and from 2:30 PM - 3:15 PM each afternoon to allow adequate time and space for our school busses.

❏ Parents MUST notify the office and classroom teacher if someone other than a parent is picking their child up. Even if the person is on your pickup list, we must still get verification from a parent via email. Example: Grandpa will be picking the children up at dismissal today. They must also bring PHOTO ID with them.

Summer Resources Summer Resources

Summer is finally here, and while we fully expect our students to dive into pool days, late mornings, and well-deserved relaxation, we also want to keep those bright minds sharp!

Regular reading and math practice over the summer break goes a long way in preventing the infamous "summer slide," ensuring your child steps into their new classroom this September feeling confident and ready to roll.
