Author Visit
Exciting news! Author Stacy McAnulty will visit Pembroke in a K-5 assembly on December 13th! This initiative is partially funded by an award from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council. During her school visit, she will give her "Our Universe" presentation which aligns with the space curriculum for grades one and five. Additionally, the district's commitment to sustainability as “green” schools will be reflected in her books. Her presentation focuses on her two titles: Earth! My First 4.54 Billion Years and Sun! One in a Billion.
If you would like Stacy McAnulty to sign a copy of one of her books when she visits on December 13th, students can bring in any title by her on the day of her visit. You can purchase her titles online at bookshop.org, target.com, or in person at any local bookstore like Book Beat in Oak Park, Caboose Bookshop in Royal Oak and Novel in Rochester.
