Your Presence Matters! Your Presence Matters!

So many opportunities are here for your students. We hope to see them every school day! Did you know young people who come to school regularly experience significant advantages? These really add up over time. Many studies have found that consistent school attendance is one of the strongest predictors of high school graduation. It's not just about finishing school, but also future earnings. Research by the Journal of Labor Economics found that students who regularly attend school and join in clubs and sports earn significantly more when they get jobs. We are here to help your student find an awesome future!

Board Approves New Path to Teaching Board Approves New Path to Teaching

Millard has developed a new program for individuals with a high level of experience and expertise in a particular area to be able to pursue teaching while working towards their certification for teaching. The Alternative Certification Pathway Program assists eligible employees in obtaining teacher certification through the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Chadron State College. This is a pathway for professionals who have enjoyed strong careers in other areas to bring their talents to our students, and early results are very promising.
