Principal's Message
Dear GTMS Families,
As we enter December, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for our Galloway community. From the Color Run to the Thanksgiving Food Drive and Toys for Tots, our families continue to show what it means to come together in support of our school and one another. Galloway truly is a community that lifts each other up and invests in its youth. Thank you for your generosity, your spirit, and your unwavering commitment to our students.
I am also proud to congratulate our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Karen Miller, a dedicated special education teacher who provides exceptional individualized instruction to her students. She builds strong relationships with families, advocates daily for her students, and leads a calm, structured, supportive classroom grounded in evidence-based practices. Her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to her students make her an invaluable part of GTMS.
With Grizzly Pride,
Paula Junker

🎟️🐾 The Attendance Ballot Box is OPEN! 🐾🎟️
We’re proud to celebrate the 417 students who completed our 13-Day November Attendance Streak! Your commitment to showing up, learning, and doing your best each day is what makes GTMS shine. Keep it up, Grizzlies—your next streak starts now! 🐾✨
December may be a busy month, but every day in school counts — and we’re turning it into a challenge! With 17 school days this month, students have 17 chances to build their Winter Attendance Streak. Show up each day, stay engaged, and work toward exciting winter-themed recognition and festive surprises. Let’s make this month full of learning, school spirit, and amazing attendance!
📅 Stay on Track — Schedule Smart!
A quick checkup shouldn’t mean missing a whole day, Grizzlies! 🐾
Try to book your doctor, dentist, or orthodontist appointments early in the morning or later in the afternoon so you can still make it to school and keep your attendance streak strong! 💪
Appointments come and go, but your education sticks. 📘✨
Let’s keep showing up, staying involved, and respecting the paw every day! 💜🧡
STEAM NIGHT
STEAM Night was a tremendous success, bringing together our families for engaging hands-on activities, wonderful community support, and a night full of excitement and prizes. The energy in the building was outstanding, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s event such a memorable celebration of learning.
GTMS CORE VALUES
Do you know what it means to be a GTMS Grizzly?
At GTMS, being a Grizzly means more than just showing up to school—it’s about embodying our core values and “Respecting the Paw” in everything we do.
So, what does that look like?

Harassments, Intimidation & Bullying (HIB)
It is imperative that we continue to teach our students the effects that bullying has on others and a community. Every student deserves a safe and supportive learning environment, free from fear and harassment. Any instance of bullying should be promptly reported to the administration or staff member, who will take immediate and appropriate action to address the situation. By fostering a culture of kindness, empathy, and respect, we can create a school community where all students feel valued and accepted.
