• In addition to compliance with all required immunizations, students entering, attending, or transferring to the 7th grade in Florida Schools must have the following:

  
  

  • TETANUS-DIPHTHERIA-PERTUSSIS (TDAP) VACCINE

  
  

  If your child has already received this immunizations, please provide the school with proof of compliance on fully completed Florida Certificate of Immunization from (DH680)

  
  

  If your child has not received these immunizations, please contact you child's health care provider or a Health Department Immunization Site Right away.

  
  

  Only those students who have documentation of completed immunization requirements or have documentation of valid medical or religious exemption will be allowed to start 7th grade.

Please be advised that the school store we offer on Wednesdays in building 1 is with the company Good Hearts Gear (formally known as Red Apple Uniforms). This store does not offer purchases made on our Otma spirit store or PE uniforms. Those are sold on separate platforms, and we do not hold that supply within our in-person school store.

Also please know if you ordered something online through Good Hearts Gear, you cannot come and pick it up in person. You will need to wait for the shipment to arrive by delivery. At that point, sizing with your polos be off we can return them in person and get you a new size.

Dress Code – School Attire Policy

A higher standard of dress encourages greater respect for individuals, students and others, and results in a higher standard of behavior. Our dress code guidelines indicate appropriate school dress during normal school days for every student. Please read our complete uniform policy as listed in the parent handbook

Belts

Our uniform policy includes belts. Small children sometimes struggle with the belt in the bathroom. Therefore we will have an amended policy for 25-26 that we will be enforcing:

Students in Shorts or Pants must have a belt securing their clothes at the waist with their shirt tucked in for grades 3-8. Grades 1 & 2 are strongly recommended. Kinder is optional if they have mastered the bathroom independently with a belt!

Uniform procedures while waiting for order

In the event that your child has to start school without the required uniform, please send in a copy of your uniform order receipt.

“New applications will open in the month of May. We will send an official communication once the enrollment period for school bus services becomes available.”

All NEW students, in order to be considered while we are developing the routes, you are requested to register your child(ren) before June 15th. If registering after June 15th, it may delay the process, and you may be assigned to existing stops as soon as time and room permit. There is a possibility that late registrations may not be processed until after the start of school.

There will be no exceptions for late registrations due to the time restraints. Please submit a bus transportation request form by completing an online application at your earliest convenience. The online registration request form is now available and will remain so throughout the school year for all students and for any change of addresses that may be needed. Note: You may only register using your home address. ONLY REGISTER ONE TIME, each time you register with the same student it will drop you further down the list to assign.

School Notice

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This is an important reminder regarding the Withdrawal form. Please note that each school may follow different procedures, so it is essential that you contact your child’s current school directly to understand their specific process for submitting and releasing student records.

Once the withdrawal form has been signed, the school must provide you copy of the withdrawal with the official document verifying that the student has completed the grade level (Final Report Card or Transcript) , either the same day or within 48 hours of the withdrawal.

Additionally, please note the required documents based on grade level:

• Grades 1st –8th : The most recent report card and Withdrawal copy is required.
• Grades 9–12: An official credit transcript and Withdrawal copy is required.

All documents must be submitted no later than Wenesday July 1.

It is very important that these documents are submitted on time, as we use this information to complete the student’s class schedule, ensuring that each student is placed in the courses they need.

Furthermore, students in Grades 6–12 will begin selecting their electives very soon. Our school counselor will be contacting families shortly with additional information regarding the elective selection process.

Please be advised that if the required documents are not submitted by the stated deadline, the student will not be able to begin school in August.
