LIVING AMENDMENTS PBL

Students will continue their work on our next PBL.

The driving question is Why is it important to have a contemporary understanding of the Constitution and its amendments?

This week, students completed their second full week of eLearning.

Students received their assigned amendments. Students planned their visual art project; this art piece can be digital, three dimensional, or a drawing.

Students completed part 1 of the rationale in Google Classroom in three paragraphs.

Paragraph A-Overview of the U.S. Constitution. Paragraph B-Answer to the driving question using their assigned amendment to make your claim.

Paragraph C-Explanation of why the U.S. Constitution has been amended 27 times and a summary of the rights Americans are granted through these amendments.

Check and Connect Opportunities:

Zoom and Kahoot!

Optional Journal: Students had an opportunity to write about the effect Covid 19, the shelter in place order and online learning has had on their daily lives. Historians learn from artifacts of the past. Their journal is a record of their experience AND I can check in to see how students are doing.
