Monroe May Parent Newsletter

If I could use 1 word to describe my first week here at Monroe May it would be, “WOW”!

WOW your students are sweet and kind and hardworking!

WOW this staff is dedicated, loving, and passionate!

WOW am I excited to be here!!

At this time I only have 1 update that I wanted to share:

• Beginning in January, when the 7:40 bell rings we will ask parents to drop their students off at the front door rather than enter into the building with them. We will also ask any parents that are currently in the building at this time to please exit. The instructional day begins at 7:45, and this week I noticed that we still had quite a few parents in the building when the school day begins. I want to ensure that we do not have adults walking around campus (for security reasons) after the instructional day has started. Thank you in advance for helping with this!

Mrs. Juarez was awarded the CREST award for being recognized as an outstanding counseling program!

Having our students on time (7:45) and present everyday means so much to us! We need them here so we can teach them and love on them! Help us in achieving 96% attendance everyday!

Monday - 88% (YIKES!)

Tuesday - 94%

Wednesday - 94%

Thursday - 95%

Friday - 95%
