7th Grade Volleyball - Monday 11/21 (Standish-Sterling)

The 7th grade volleyball B team swept Bullock Creek in all 3 matches. First match 25-21 with Isabella cordingly serving 8 points with 1 ace. Second match 24-19 and Third match 25-20 where all the girls stepped up their serving game and Ava Thiele served 5 of those winning points.

7th grade volleyball A team came up short splitting their first two games 10-25 and 25-14. Unfortunately couldn't take the win but came close with a 22-25 loss. Claire stretch served 9 aces in the second match and Natalie McQueen served 10 points in the third match. All girls played aggressive and had some amazing saves!

8th Grade Volleyball - Monday 11/21 (Standish-Sterling)

8th grade B team swept another match beating Bullock Creek in all 3 sets. The scores were 25-10, 25-12, and 25-20.

8th grade A team also won all three sets within their match. The scores were 25-16, 25-21, and 25-23.

Wrestling (Frankenmuth & John Glenn)

Nick Handa 1-1 w/ pin, Mox Huston 1-1 w/ pin and Cooper Rubenstein 1-1 w/ pin

Ben Handa loss by points 6-8. Chloe Humphrey & Cadence Murphy our push themselves to get better every week against boys. Braxton Darland is always against really good wrestlers for the last 3 weeks.

We have started collecting for Toys for Tots. If you would like to donate, please bring in new, unwrapped toys to the collection boxes in the high school lobby.

The Christmas Band Concert will be on Wednesday, December 21st in the high school gym at 7:00 pm. Call time for band members is 6:00 pm.

Order of performances are as follows: 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, HS/MS Jazz band, then HS Concert Band. Hope to see you there!

The rest of the new board games have arrived thanks to the Thrivent Action grant we received. They should all be processed and ready to check out by the end of the week (if not sooner). Come to the library after school to hang with friends and try out the library's new board game and card game collection! Try new games and play old favorites. Just a few of our games include Exploding Kittens: Recipes for Disaster, Cards Against Humanity: Family Edition, LIFE, Risk, Settlers of Catan, and many more!

Help get an anime club started at the library! Eat Japanese snacks, watch and talk about anime, and do crafts! You get to decide what this club will be called, can help make decisions about what shows and films we watch, and suggest fun activities for future club meetings!

It's time for another family-friendly Escape Room at the library! Test your puzzle-solving skills and knowledge of the holiday classic A Christmas Story in a fun and challenging Escape Room! Sign up your family or group for a time slot on Wednesday or Thursday between 2:00 and 7:00 PM

Kids ages K-5th grade can sign up for this special workshop where they will create a surprise gift for a family member!
