Moseley Mustangs Newsletter
October 19
๐ฌ A Note from Dr. Kari Roan
Mustang Families:
This past week, each staff member honored a student who has exemplified Moseley Magnificence in a meaningful way. Our Students of the Quarter received special recognition from their staff member, and we couldn't be prouder of these Mustangs! My SoQ is pictured! (If your student was selected as a 1st quarter SoQ, please be sure to sit with them to check their Minga dashboard for an important announcement!)
The cool weather is starting to greet us! ๐ Before much cooler weather comes, please remind your students to check Lost and Found in the cafeteria during their lunch or on their way out of the building as we clear it off each Friday. We have quite an assortment of jackets, water bottles, and lunch bags!
Report cards for Quarter 1 are now available in Skyward! Take some time this week to review your student's progress and celebrate their successes. This is also the perfect opportunity to have a conversation about areas where they can improve and set specific goals for Quarter 2. As you and your student set goals for the upcoming quarter, consider these Goal-Setting Tips:
- Identify 1-2 specific areas for improvement
- Create an action plan (attend tutorials, use the weekly agenda consistently, organize materials by color-coding folders)
- Check in weekly on progress
- Celebrate small wins along the way!
Thank You for Joining Our Campus Tours: We loved seeing so many families at our recent campus tours! It was wonderful to showcase our beautiful new building and share what makes Moseley special. If you missed it, don't worryโkeep watching for the next round of tours coming up!
Parent Information Night - October 20th: Join us for our upcoming parent event where we'll share strategies and resources to help you support your student's success at Moseley. Love and light to all of our families celebrating the holiday tomorrow, and let's all be ready to RIDE this quarter.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that EIGHT of our talented 8th-grade Moseley Band students have advanced and may earn placement into the prestigious Prosper ISD All-District Band!
This is a truly monumental achievement in the very first year of our school's operation. These students have set an incredible standard, and we couldn't be prouder of how they are representing not only our band program, but also our entire school community at the highest level of musical excellence. ๐
These students will now get to perform in the All-District Band on Friday, November 21st with the other students in Prosper ISD that earned placement into the group. Congratulations to these dedicated musicians! Go Mustangs! ๐ด
