Principal's Update

An email went out to all Vinal families on Friday asking for your feedback on our yearly survey, and we kindly ask for your participation. The survey contains 23 questions and will take approximately 8 minutes to complete. It is family-specific but completely anonymous. You will receive an email from support+norwelldistrict@panoramaed.com containing unique access codes for each child enrolled at Vinal. These access codes will allow you to complete the survey for each child. We request that you respond on behalf of each child, as this will help us organize the data by gender, grade level, and other categories. Make sure to check your SPAM folder if you have not received the email.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we greatly appreciate your time and input. The survey will close on Friday, March 21st. Thank you for helping us continue to improve our school community!

Student Government Mac & Cheese Drive

Student government is spearheading the “I Heart Mac n’ Cheese/Pasta” drive for local food charities from now until April 17th. Please send in any mac n’ cheese and pasta items with your child/children, or donations may be dropped off in the main lobby or library. We are attempting to collect the height (in boxes) of as many students as possible by April 17th to demonstrate to students the power of coming together as a community for a selfless cause. Thank you for your continued support in the quest to eliminate food insecurity in our communities.

Norwell Recycling & Sustainability Committee

HAVE USED OR UNWANTED CRAYONS, MARKERS, PENS,

WOODEN OR MECHANICAL PENCILS?

The Norwell Recycling and Sustainability Committee continues to sponsor a

project to recycle crayons, markers, pens and wooden and mechanical pencils.

We are working in partnership with Staples, who sends the crayons to the Crayon

Initiative where they are melted down and remanufactured into new crayons

which are delivered to children hospitals for patient use. Staples also partners

with TerraCycle which recycles writing tools to raw formats that manufacturers

use to make new products. These programs work to reduce environmental waste.

Collection boxes are located at-
