Yondr is coming to WSTA!

This year, WSTA is launching the Yondr pouch system school-wide to support a focused, engaged, and distraction-free learning environment.

What is Yondr?
Yondr is a secure pouch that students will use to store their phones during the school day. Upon arrival, students will place their phone inside the pouch, which locks and remains in their possession. At dismissal, pouches are unlocked, and phones are returned for use outside of school.

Why are we using it?
We want to create a learning space where students can be fully present—connecting with each other, participating in class, and staying focused without the constant distraction of cell phones.

We’re excited about the positive impact this will have on our school culture and student success. More information, including instructions and expectations, will be shared at 5th Grade Orientation and a Q&A zoom before school starts.
