A Message from Dr. Cassidy

Hello Red Devil Family,

It’s an exciting time to be part of the Liberty community! Everywhere we look, our students are doing incredible things — and their hard work is paying off in big ways.

Liberty Middle has officially earned an EXCELLENT rating from the South Carolina Department of Education — the first in our school’s history! Our high school has achieved the highest graduation rate ever recorded in SDPC, and the Pride of Liberty Marching Band just brought home the silver medal at the state competition!

These accomplishments don’t happen by chance. They’re the result of determined students, passionate educators, and a community that believes in the power of education. Together, we’re building a legacy of excellence and shaping bright futures for our kids.

Great things are happening in Liberty — and the best part is, we’re just getting started!

Snapchat, TikTok, and other social media may seem innocent but can have serious consequences. Join us for a serious discussion led by the Pickens County Advocacy Center to find out how to protect your child from online dangers!

LMS Celebrates Veterans

Dear LMS Community,

We are excited to announce our Veteran's Day Ceremony, which will take place on November 11th at 9:30 AM. We invite students to bring their family members to this special event as we honor those who have served in the military.

To help us prepare, please fill out the form linked below. This will allow us to count the number of veterans attending and provide a light breakfast in the media center starting at 9:00 AM.

Additionally, if you would like to submit a photograph of a family member who served in the military, we would be thrilled to showcase them in our slideshow during the ceremony.
