October Reflections October Reflections

Middle and High School Families,

We hope you are enjoying the seasonal changes as they quickly begin rushing in. As the weather has transitioned over this past month, we appreciate all of the positives that have been happening within our school.

We want to offer a sincere thanks to all of the families who showed up for conferences in October. Our partnership in your child's education is critical to their growth and success. This is always appreciated. Please know you are more than welcome to reach out to anyone with questions and concerns outside of this time as well. The more we communicate, the stronger the results we see in our kids.

Beyond this, it was wonderful interacting with so many of you during our Homecoming festivities! Thank you for all of the community support you showed throughout the week at our athletic events and for our school. The parade through downtown Westfield was a resounding success as we were able to showcase so many great aspects of our current schools and community in celebration of all who have come through before. Thank you to our local police, fire department, and EMS for helping with the event and participating in many great ways. I hope you were filled with memories and Pioneer Pride throughout the week.

Outside of the classroom, we'd like to congratulate all of our fall athletes on completing successful seasons. The activities allow for so much growth through experiences and make for some excellent memories for all involved. We are proud of their dedication, sportsmanship, and focus on community through the many themed events that are put on throughout the season. Looking forward to more of that as our next seasons begin starting up.

Students were quite busy with a variety of events throughout October. A few of the highlights follow here:

One of the amazing hallways at our Trick-or-Treat event put on by the High School Student Council! The students did an amazing job decorating over the past few weeks, putting on skits throughout the night, and delivering treats to everyone stopping in.
