Dear Green Meadow Community,
I am excited to share that progress is underway on the temporary playground at Green Meadow. Construction has officially begun—trees have been cleared, and the site is being prepared for installation. Play equipment is being delivered to the site today, and we are looking forward to seeing the space take shape in the coming days.
This week I was reassured by the project management team and the construction company that the playground will be ready to go for the Meet and Greet on Tuesday, August 26, at 2:00 PM, followed by the PTO Playground Playdate from 2:30-3:30 PM. I will continue to keep you updated as the project moves forward. Below you can find pictures of some of the equipment that will be installed.
Next week I will share more information about the new arrival and dismissal procedures for the start of the school year. Please be patient as we work with the construction team and prepare to welcome our student back to school on Wednesday, August 27.
Respectfully,
Karen Lindquist, Principal
