Lilyana Elementary
Dear Lilyana Families, 💙
Happy Friday! I want to send a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing PTO for hosting such a fantastic Glow Night Fundraising event! Our students, families, and staff had so much fun enjoying this time together, and we are so deeply grateful for all the hard work, planning, and community spirit that went into making the night such an amazing success!
As we look ahead, we also have a bittersweet update to share regarding our music department. Our beloved music teacher, Ms. Vogt, has accepted a promotion in another school district. While we are sad to see her go and will miss her terribly, we are so proud of her and excited for this next step in her career!
We are actively in the process of hiring a new music teacher to lead our program. In the meantime, here is what you can expect for the month of October:
Guest Teacher: We will have a guest teachers stepping into the music room for the month of October to keep our students singing and learning seamlessly.
Choir Update: Choir will be temporarily paused through October while we transition. We will share updates on resuming choir as soon as our new teacher is in place.
Thank you all for your continued support, understanding, and love for our school family!
Sincerely,
Dr. Natalie Miller
Principal
