Week of September 29 Week of September 29

It's hard to believe that October is just around the corner! As we settle into our school year routines, we continue to encourage all students to embody our core values of being safe, responsible, respectful, and kind. Your children are truly rising to this challenge and continue to amaze me. To help reinforce these positive behaviors, we have been having conversations with students about specific safety expectations, such as not running in the hallways. Please partner with us by also reminding your student that these expectations for safe and respectful conduct apply everywhere on campus and at school-sponsored events, including on the bus, at the bus stop, and at weekend football games.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me at adinney@qcsd.org.

Picture Day

October 1 is picture day. Students will get their pictures taken with their Science classes. Students will receive their picture cards during morning meeting, and will need to bring the picture card with them to their science classroom. Picture day flyers came home with students on September 19.

Digital Hall Pass

To consolidate our student support systems, we will be transitioning soon to a new digital hall pass system. This feature will now be integrated directly within our existing PBIS Rewards software which helps keep track of our PBIS tickets.

This change allows us to bring all of our student-focused tools into one single system, making it easier for our staff to manage student hall passes alongside our positive behavior initiatives. While the system is changing, the process for students remains much the same.

Please be assured that student privacy is a top priority. Data from this system is used for school safety and administrative purposes only. Access to this information is strictly limited to authorized school staff and is not used for any other purpose.

Thank you for your cooperation as we make this important update to better support our school community.
