Celebrating Our Heritage & 25 Days of Learning!
Dear NOW Families,
What a wonderful week to celebrate our community! This week, we begin Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to honor and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, traditions, languages, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.
At RFK NOW Academy, we are proud of the diversity that makes our school community so special. Throughout the month, our students will have opportunities to learn about the people, stories, traditions, music, art, and accomplishments that have shaped our world. Most importantly, we celebrate the many ways our families and students contribute to the beautiful tapestry of our TK–12 community.
And there is even more to celebrate—we are reaching our 25th day of school! 🎉 Twenty-five days of learning, growing, building relationships, discovering new ideas, and becoming stronger as a community. Every day brings new opportunities for our students to learn and for us, as educators and families, to encourage and support them.
As we celebrate our heritage and this early milestone in the school year, let us continue to embrace what makes us unique while coming together around our shared commitment to learning, belonging, and excellence for every student.
Here’s to 25 days down—and an incredible year ahead!
¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!

This year, I ask that we lean into hope.
Hope for our students.
Hope for one another.
Hope for our school.
Hope for the collective future we are building together.
Let us begin and end this year believing that what we do together can make a difference—and that the best is still ahead. Let these snapshots be proof of the strength of our community.
