The Character Trait for November is Humble
Every month the staff and students at Beer Middle School work on a character trait. The character trait for November is humble. Humble means being confident in yourself without needing to make yourself seem better than others. A humble person recognizes their strengths while also being willing to learn from others, accepts compliments graciously, and gives credit to others for their contributions and successes.
The Character Trait for October was compassionate.

Athletic Physicals Need to be Uploaded This Year to Final Forms
We are very excited to announce that the Warren Consolidated Schools Athletic Department has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.
You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.
Click on the Parent Playbook (attached) to get started in FinalForms. If you require any support during the process, scroll to the page bottom and click “Get Help”.
We are asking the parents/guardians of all students planning to play sports to create accounts in FinalForms and register your student(s).
Please register at: warrenconsolidated-mi.finalforms.com and follow the prompts to create your account, create your students and sign your forms.
Thank you for your assistance in streamlining our paperwork processes at Warren Consolidated Schools.

Lunch and Breakfast Menu
Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Students During the 2026-2027 School Year
Dear Parent or Guardian:
We are pleased to inform you that we will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) as part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
The GREAT NEWS is that ALL students enrolled at our schools can receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO CHARGE to your household each day.
In place of the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application, we still need your household to complete a Education Benefit Form https://warren.familyportal.cloud/. This report is critical in determining the amount of money that our school receives from a variety of State and Federal supplemental programs like Title I A, At-risk (31a), Title II A, E-Rate, etc.
These supplemental programs have the potential to offer supports and services for our students including, but not limited to:
- Instructional supports (staff, supplies & materials, etc.)
- Non-instructional services (counseling, social work, health services, etc.)
- Professional Learning for staff
- Parent and Community engagement supplies and activities
- Technology
We are asking that you please complete and submit the Education Benefit Form as soon as possible to ensure that additional funding for our school is available to meet the needs of our students. All information on the report submitted is confidential. Without your assistance in completing and returning the report, our school cannot maximize the use of available State and Federal funds.
If we can be of any further assistance, please call the Nutrition Services office at 586.698.4158.

Parking Lot Procedures
Beer Middle School Parking Lot ProceduresSafety and Security is our #1 priority.
BE READY!
When entering the parking lot, you should be ready with all that you need to exit the vehicle quickly and safely. Backpack, lunch, water bottle… ready to go
If no one is in front of them, they move up all the way to “drop students off here” sign (next to the BIG TREE).
Get out from the right side of the car next to the sidewalk.
If your parents are in the “No Stop Lane” they can drive around into the lot, Park and let you out there. Then, you would go to the Crosswalk and an adult will ensure you get across at the CROSSWALK safely.
OR – Pull up to the far end of the drop off lane (after the BIG TREE).
This IS the designated area to cross. It's called a “CROSSWALK” for a reason. You will notice these in downtown areas. They are designated to keep pedestrians safe. When crossing at a crosswalk, you should wait for a staff member to make sure cars have completely stopped before you walk across.
There is a little know secret that Dowland St. is much less congested (busy) than the parking lot. Although you need to walk across the grass, leaving the school becomes much easier for your parents to wait for you on Dowland for an easier exit.
