As we welcome the school year we are welcoming new procedures and new times. Please keep the following in mind:

• No check outs after 3:00. This is an adjustment from 3:15. In order for us to efficiently call your child to the office, no check outs can occur after this time.
• The district has set new instructional times for the 24-25 school year. Students enter the classroom at 7:45. Instruction begins at 8:00. Instruction ends at 3:15. Buses run earlier in the mornings (about 10 minutes) and later in the afternoons (15-20 minutes).
• Any student not riding a bus must be dropped off in the car rider line. No Walk Ups. We have adjusted our morning drop off time to 7:20-7:50. We hope this helps our line run more smoothly in the mornings.
• The car rider line gate closes at 7:50. If you arrive on campus at this time or later you must park and walk your child to the front door. For safety reasons DO NOT send your child.
• The tardy bell rings at 8:00. If your child arrives at or after this time you must walk them in and sign them in. They will take a tardy slip and go to class.
• All absence excuses must be received at school the day your child returns from their absence.

You may also email your child's teacher, but they may not see it until the end of the day so please email the office staff to ensure transportation changes are able to be made by the end of the school day prior to dismissal.

Consistent attendance is crucial to your child's academic success. It ensures that students stay engaged, keep up with their work, and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers.

Please support your child's learning journey by ensuring they attend school every day. Your partnership is key to their academic growth and overall well-being.

Conway Public Schools will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024 in observance of Labor Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 3.

We are shifting into the fall gardening season in the CLE Garden. Be on the look out for pumpkin vines and cold hardy greens like kale growing in the garden! We recently harvested our sweet potatoes for a fun teaching opportunity for our 3rd and 4th graders with the Faulkner County Extension Agency in the upcoming months. Volunteers are always met with joy and appreciation, and the garden wouldn't be thriving without them! We will be there this Saturday at 9am. Bring your kiddos and come check it out!
