GMS Falcon Update

GMS FalconUpdate8/22/25

Course Syllabi Coming Home

Each teacher at Graham Middle School will be sending home a Course Syllabus by the end of next week at the latest. This syllabus is individualized for each course taken. It will include a variety of information we want to be sure is shared with you including teacher contact info, content covered, student expectations, etc.

Please be sure to check with your students about these papers coming home and also please reach out with any questions.

Drop-off and Pickup Reminders

Parents/Guardians/Siblings transporting students to and from school are asked to follow the below AM drop-off procedures in the parking lot to minimize congestion and maximize student safety. We have been blessed with large sidewalk areas, so we expect them to be utilized for drop off, preventing students from walking across traffic. Please refer to the drop off traffic patterns. Students should not be dropped off in the driving aisles or parking spaces. We do not want them crossing traffic.

In order for any school drop-off or pickup plan to work, it requires responsible and respectful driving habits of all involved.

Front doors open at 7:10 and students need to be in their classrooms by 7:25. Students will be dismissed at 2:20. As long as you pick up by 2:25, you will likely avoid all buses leaving GMS, as they park behind the building and take 5-7 minutes to load and be dismissed.

Kroger Community Rewards Opportunity

Want to help your school??

Before you head out to the grocery store, please consider linking your Kroger card to Graham Local Schools. When you spend, we earn!

Graham Local Schools has been accepted into the Kroger Community Rewards program. Funding earned through this program will be used to directly support student needs. If you and your family and friends shop at Kroger in Ohio, please take 2 minutes to link your Kroger Plus Card to Graham Local Schools. Linked accounts earn our school money from your shopping trips.

Thank you for supporting our students!

Graham Local Schools can now receive funding from Kroger Community Rewards. Funding is generated when our staff and friends and family link their KROGER PLUS CARD to Graham Local Schools. Grocery shopping at Kroger with a linked card will help us earn money to support students in the district directly.

Linking your card is easy!

If you have an existing Kroger Plus Card:

Step 1: Visit https://www.kroger.com/i/community/community-rewards, scroll to the bottom and click on this image:

Step 2: Your Kroger Plus Card is set to a preferred store. Some stores in our area are within the Columbus Division of Kroger (Urbana, Bellefontaine) and some stores are within the Cincinnati Division of Kroger (Springfield, Dayton areas). You will put in the code or GRAHAM LOCAL SCHOOLS into the organization you wish to link to.

To Use the Kroger Community Rewards Program:

CINCINNATI REGION CODES

Simply encourage your participants to visit http://www.kroger.com. Once logged into their Kroger account they can search either by name GRAHAM LOCAL SCHOOLS or WI866 and then click Enroll. Middle School Athletic Ticket Prices

Last year, the Central Buckeye Conference raised prices for tickets. For the record, Graham Local Schools voted AGAINST a rise in ticket prices, however the vote passed 9-3 so middle school event prices increased for families. Graham students are still FREE for home events. We will still honor Graham senior citizen passes as well.

**High School event prices are different than middle school.

Immunizations for Grade 7

Reminder: Information for incoming grade 7 students:
Ohio Law requires that all seventh graders must have received multiple immunizations. Before starting school, students in the 7th grade must have a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) and a Meningococcal vaccine. Written proof of receiving these vaccinations must be on file in the school office. Students who do not have evidence of proper immunizations will be excluded from school after 14 days, per Ohio Revised Code.
If your doctor says immunization might be harmful to your student, a waiver must be on file. If you object to immunization for good cause, for example religious convictions, a waiver must be on file.
If you need them to be faxed, our Fax number at GMS is 937-663-4674
