Inspiring Purpose, Compassion & Excellence
HALLOWEEN FESTIVITIES
What a fantastic Halloween celebration we had! Our students fully embraced the spirit of the season, showcasing their creativity through a variety of fun activities. From drawing architecturally sound haunted houses in art class to decorating pumpkins inspired by their favorite characters, the excitement and imagination on display were truly remarkable!
Our second graders took Halloween to a new level by saying “boo” to a fixed mindset—the belief that our abilities are set in stone. They reflected on their personal goals, showing great courage to try new things and learn from mistakes. It’s inspiring to see such a strong growth mindset shining through at such a young age!
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us for our Halloween parties and parade on Friday. The costumes were incredibly creative, and the smiles on our students’ faces made the day extra special. A big shoutout goes to our amazing parent volunteers who helped organize classroom parties and to all families who contributed supplies and donations. Your support makes these memorable events possible, and we’re so grateful for you!
We hope everyone enjoyed a spook-tacular Halloween, and we can’t wait for all the exciting learning and celebrations still to come this fall! 🍂
OUR NEW MARQUEE HAS ARRIVED
We did it! Thanks to the incredible generosity and spirit of our school community, we raised over $30,000 during our annual Fun Run! These funds have made it possible for us to purchase and install our brand-new school marquee.
Our new marquee is bright, lively, and full of school pride! It will help us share important updates, announcements, and celebrations more effectively with our families and community.
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our PTO, the dedication of our volunteers, and the amazing support of our families. Thank you for showing what teamwork and community can do!
INTENT TO RETURN SURVEY FOR 2026-2027
To help us plan for the 2026–2027 school year and maintain small class sizes, we ask that all families complete this Intent to Return Survey as soon as possible. Knowing your plans helps us determine the grade levels where we can welcome new students.

HONORING VETERANS & THOSE SERVING
Gold Rush Elementary is incredibly proud of those who serve our country. We are excited to invite active and retired military to a special assembly on November 11 at 9:45 AM. This is a wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
We warmly welcome participants to join their Gold Rush student for coffee and doughnuts between 9:15 AM - 9:30 AM in the cafeteria. Due to limited capacity, we are specifically inviting Veterans and active military members. If you or someone you know would like to attend, please click here to RSVP by November 4.
We look forward to coming together to honor and celebrate our heroes!
