Financial Aid Graduation Requirement
To graduate students need to complete the FAFSA/TAFSA or an opt-out form during your senior year. Confirmation that the FAFSA/TASFA has been completed or the opt-out form needs to be uploaded into Schoolinks.
Federal Application for Federal Student Aid
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a free application that helps students determine if they qualify for federal financial aid. Students can use the FAFSA to apply for grants, loans, and work-study funds for college, career school, or graduate school.
Texas Application for Student Financial Aid
FAFSA is meant for students who are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens, while the TASFA is for non-citizens and certain international students who are classified as Texas residents. FAFSA can help eligible students be considered for federal aid, while filing the TASFA allows students to be considered for state financial aid.
