Checking IN/OUT your child Checking IN/OUT your child

You will need to bring your cell phone in and have the focus app open. We recommend having it open prior to coming into the school, because our internet is intermittent sometimes. You will scan your students barcode using the scanner at the front desk to check him/her in or out. See photo below for example.

HELPFUL HINT: Take a screenshot of the barcode screen when you are at home (internet access in the school is intermittent sometimes). Then you can access it in your photos easily or better yet put the photo in your NOTES section and then it won't get lost in your millions of photos!

Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Peine Ridge October 5th-9th.

The Fair will be open for families to shop during the PRE Block Party on Tuesday, October 6th. This is a great opportunity to build your child’s home library with new books that will get them excited about reading while also earning funds for our school. The easiest way to let your child shop the Fair independently is by creating a Book Fair eWallet through our school homepage. It’s easy to set up and easy for family and friends to add funds. With eWallet, you’ll also have the chance to contribute to Share the Fair™—the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the Fair empty-handed!

Preview the books coming to the Fair by taking a 360° virtual tour via our school’s Book Fair homepage and explore the titles, watch video book trailers, and more. We can’t wait to see you at the Fair and help every student discover a book they’ll love!

🚗 Car Rider Reminder! 🚗 Car Rider Reminder!

Parents, please help us keep our car rider line safe, quick, and moving smoothly by remembering a few things:

  • Display your bright green or white car rider tag and keep it visible until your child is safely in the car. It really helps our staff!
  • Please stay in your vehicle while in the car rider line.
  • Help your child practice buckling themselves independently whenever possible.
  • If your child needs assistance getting buckled, please pull into the parking lot after pickup so you can safely help them without holding up the line.

Thank you for helping us make dismissal safe and efficient for everyone!

Changes to your child’s dismissal/transportation plans need to be communicated to the

If that is not possible, you may call the office on the day of the change before 2:00 p.m., so the office staff has adequate time to notify your child’s teacher. You must provide a note or call each day that you want your child to go home in a different manner than usual.

To access the required volunteer registration forms and to read the Wentzville School District's Volunteer Policy click here. If you have questions about the volunteer policy or forms, contact Kelly in the front office, raquelehume@wsdr4.org

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS ARRIVING LATE TO SCHOOL?

Once the sign on the front drive is turned to tell you that you have arrived late, you will need to walk your child into the main office. Please do not have your student exit the car and walk in by themselves. A parent will need to walk the student in and sign them into school.
