ROCK YOUR SCHOOL DAY 2026
Friday was a great day at Peine as we celebrated Rock Your School Day! Our students and staff brought so much energy and excitement to the day, making learning feel extra special. Thank you to our teachers and staff for creating such a fun experience for our students!
Checking IN/OUT your child
You will need to bring your cell phone in and have the focus app open. We recommend having it open prior to coming into the school, because our internet is intermittent sometimes. You will scan your students barcode using the scanner at the front desk to check him/her in or out. See photo below for example.
HELPFUL HINT: Take a screenshot of the barcode screen when you are at home (internet access in the school is intermittent sometimes). Then you can access it in your photos easily or better yet put the photo in your NOTES section and then it won't get lost in your millions of photos!
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Peine Ridge October 5th-9th.
The Fair will be open for families to shop during the PRE Block Party on Tuesday, October 6th. This is a great opportunity to build your child’s home library with new books that will get them excited about reading while also earning funds for our school. The easiest way to let your child shop the Fair independently is by creating a Book Fair eWallet through our school homepage. It’s easy to set up and easy for family and friends to add funds. With eWallet, you’ll also have the chance to contribute to Share the Fair™—the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the Fair empty-handed!
Preview the books coming to the Fair by taking a 360° virtual tour via our school’s Book Fair homepage and explore the titles, watch video book trailers, and more. We can’t wait to see you at the Fair and help every student discover a book they’ll love!

North Point State of the District & Community Engagement Event
Families and community members in the North Point and Holt feeder patterns are invited to join District Leadership for a State of the District & Community Engagement Event from 6-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 20 at North Point High School.
Hear a State of the District presentation from WSD Superintendent, then take the opportunity to ask questions, share your thoughts, and engage in conversation with school and district leadership.
We hope you’ll join us for this opportunity to connect, learn, and be part of the conversation about our schools and community!

🚗 Car Rider Reminder!
Parents, please help us keep our car rider line safe, quick, and moving smoothly by remembering a few things:
- Display your bright green or white car rider tag and keep it visible until your child is safely in the car. It really helps our staff!
- Please stay in your vehicle while in the car rider line.
- Help your child practice buckling themselves independently whenever possible.
- If your child needs assistance getting buckled, please pull into the parking lot after pickup so you can safely help them without holding up the line.
Thank you for helping us make dismissal safe and efficient for everyone!

Community Partners Opt Out
Dear Peine Ridge Elementary Family,
Throughout the duration of the academic year, the Wentzville School District partners with community agencies that specialize in providing students, families, and educators with preventative education. Agency presenters are credentialed, coordinated through the District, and under the supervision of building administrators. Presentation topics are targeted toward specific grade levels. All students will participate in each program unless you choose to opt your child out of the lesson(s). If you are interested in opting your student(s) out of the presentation(s), please click the appropriate link(s) below.
If you have additional questions, please reach out directly to your student’s guidance counselor.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY CHILD'S TRANSPORTATION HOME FROM SCHOOL?
Changes to your child’s dismissal/transportation plans need to be communicated to the
teacher AND the main office. If you need to make an occasional transportation change (car rider instead of the bus, etc.) you must send a note to your child’s teacher. If that is not possible, you may call the office on the day of the change before 2:00 p.m., so the office staff has adequate time to notify your child’s teacher. You must provide a note or call each day that you want your child to go home in a different manner than usual.
CAN I VOLUNTEER AT PEINE RIDGE?
To access the required volunteer registration forms and to read the Wentzville School District's Volunteer Policy click here. If you have questions about the volunteer policy or forms, contact Kelly in the front office, raquelehume@wsdr4.org
WHAT IF MY CHILD IS ARRIVING LATE TO SCHOOL?
Once the sign on the front drive is turned to tell you that you have arrived late, you will need to walk your child into the main office. Please do not have your student exit the car and walk in by themselves. A parent will need to walk the student in and sign them into school.
