WMS LEADERSHIP TEAM
Principal ~ Aspen Burkett
West Families!
We hope your spring break was restful, joyful, and filled your cups. It’s hard to believe, but we are officially in the final quarter of the 2025–2026 school year, a time that is always full of growth, celebration, and meaningful moments for our students.
As we move forward into April, we are preparing for CMAS testing. We are excited for our students to show what they know and to do their very best. This is an important opportunity for us to better understand how our students are growing, the impact of our teachers’ instruction, and how we can continue to strengthen our support for every learner. Please reach out if you have questions about CMAS and the importance of your student participating.
We are also looking forward to our upcoming all-school dance on April 23rd. The theme is New York City Vibes, and it's shaping up to be a wonderful event! Thank you to our incredible PTCO and community for your continued support in creating joyful experiences for our students. These moments matter more than we often realize.
As we enter this final stretch, we are reminded that school is not just about academics. School is also about the memories we create along the way...“Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
We encourage you to take a few moments to review all of the information below so you stay up to date on important events, updates, and opportunities to stay connected with our school.
Thank you for your partnership and for being such an important part of the West community. Let’s finish this year strong together.

The student must get off at the assigned stop of the student they are riding with (no exceptions).
