WINTHROP WEEKLY
November 6th, 2025
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
As we begin to wrap up the term, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support. This time of year can be busy for families, and we truly appreciate all you do to help your children stay focused, rested, and ready to learn—especially as everyone adjusts to the recent time change.
Teachers have begun reaching out to schedule conferences. These meetings are a valuable opportunity to reflect on your child’s progress, celebrate their growth, and set goals for the months ahead. Please don’t hesitate to connect with your child’s teacher if you need to schedule or adjust a time. We are here to support you every step of the way.
As the weather becomes colder, we ask that you ensure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor play. Students go outside for recess twice each day, and warm clothing—coats, hats, gloves, and sturdy footwear—helps them enjoy this time safely and comfortably.
Thank you again for your ongoing partnership and for all the care you show in preparing your children for school each day. We look forward to a strong and positive finish to the term.
Thank You,
Winthrop Administration Team
SEED COLLECTION WORKSHOP
Any interested families/kids interested should meet at the front office, and they will head outside on school grounds to collect seeds from plants. Students will save and sort the seeds at a later workshop, and then plant them in the spring!
