News from Miss Wharton

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for participating in parent teacher conferences this week! It was great to touch base with everyone and discuss your amazing kiddos. Your participation and interest in your kiddos education is so encouraging to witness and be a part of.
Hold on tight as we enter into the crazy but wonderful holiday months! I am looking forward to celebrating and having extra fun with the kiddos the next few months. Please be sure to check the newsletter and Class Dojo regularly so you don't miss any important information about everything that will be happening.
Next week we have a scheduled e-Learning day on Tuesday, November 3rd due to the school being a place of voting for the elections happening that day. The kiddos already came home with the packet of assignments they need to complete for this day. All assignments are due on Wednesday, November 4th when we return to school. We also have our annual parish Ham and Turkey Dinner coming up on Sunday, November 22nd. Don't miss out on this fun community event. Lastly we have Thanksgiving Break coming up on Wednesday, November 25th through Sunday, November 29th.
Lastly, we are blessed to have a Crosswinds councilor again this school year. If you would like your child to see the councilor, please reach out to me and let me know in addition to completing the permission form attached below. Your child can not be seen by the counselor unless you fill out this form and turn it in for your child.
Let's make it a great week,
Miss Wharton
Illness Prevention
Please be sure your kiddos are washing their hands often, getting lots of sleep, eating healthy, taking vitamins, etc. to help fight off all the junk being spread. It's just that time of year to spread the "love." We have been doing our best to keep the classroom clean and make sure the kiddos are washing their hands often, etc. to help as much as we can here at school.
Snack time
Just a reminder that we have snack time daily and it is individual snacks in kindergarten. This means that each child is responsible for bringing their own snack from home each day. We do NOT do community snacks in kindergarten. Starting this school year, unfortunately, we WILL NOT have any extra snacks available for anyone if they forget their snack. If you have any questions or concerns or have any trouble providing snacks for your sweet little one please please let me know and we will get something figured out for you!
