🏫 Around the Building: Quarter 4 & The Home Stretch

We have officially entered Quarter 4, and while we are on the "home stretch" toward summer, our building is still buzzing with learning, growth, and plenty of fun!

We have recently enjoyed several exciting hands-on learning days, including Touch-a-Truck day, Technology Exploration day, and STARlab day. These events provided our Wildcats with unique opportunities to explore science, technology, and our community in a tangible way.

Academic Milestones & SEL Growth

A huge "Thank You" to our families for your support during IAR Testing. Because our students arrived present and ready to go, we were able to complete our testing smoothly! We also recently hosted a Conscious Discipline Coach in our building to further refine our SEL skills. This focus on the "whole student" ensures we finish the year strong, balancing academic excellence with emotional regulation and fun.

☀️ Upcoming Spring Events

We have some exciting days ahead to celebrate our hard work!

• Lunch on the Lawn (May 22 @ 11:00 AM): We invite families to join us for a special picnic-style lunch to celebrate the end of the year.

• Field Day (April 27): Get ready for a full day of physical fitness, games, and school spirit! Activities will take place throughout the day for the students.

💡 Principal’s Corner: Attendance Matters

As the weather gets warmer, it can be tempting to start summer break early—but every day counts! Thank you for ensuring your child arrives on time every day until the very last bell on May 29th. Let’s finish this year strong, Wildcats!

We officially kicked off our latest fundraiser this week! Your student should have brought home a fundraiser packet on Monday, April 13th—please check their backpacks and your emails for all the details.

• What is it? For just $20, you can purchase a "Slice the Price" card.

• How it works: Every time you buy a large pizza at menu price from Domino's, you get another large pizza for FREE! The card pays for itself in just one or two uses.

• Why it matters: Wells gets $10 back for every card sold! All funds raised will go directly toward funding our upcoming field trips, Field Day activities, and exciting classroom transformation supplies.

• Convenience: Cards are shipped directly to the purchaser's home.
