Mona Shores 7th graders visit MCC Sturrus Technology Center!

The future of manufacturing looks bright thanks to a fantastic Middle School Manufacturing Day held at the MCC Sturrus Technology Center! Mona Shores Middle School 7th graders immersed themselves in the world of Automation/Robotics, Electricity/Electronics, Machining, Welding, and even got creative in the Fab/STEM Lab. This exciting collaboration between Muskegon Community College and MAISD schools opened students' eyes to the training, certification, and degree options at MCC, paving the way for rewarding careers. Plus, they got a taste of MCC's Agriculture programs (and delicious homemade ice cream!). We extend our sincere gratitude to MCC Sturrus Technology Center, Eagle Alloy, Hilite, Shape Corporation, and Webb Chemical for their invaluable participation in inspiring the next generation and showcasing the excellent local education and career opportunities available.
