Hero Happenings!

Ozark Guidance has received a grant in collaboration with FEMA, SAMHSA and the Arkansas Department of Health called Promoting Positive Emotions (PPE). This grant is designed to offer support and resources to any Arkansas resident free of charge. Anyone in the community can access a crisis counselor or get help connecting to resources by calling the PPE hotline at 833-993-2383.

Please remember, when students are at home working, their classroom teachers are busy teaching. Therefore, students that need support when they are working remotely can send questions to hmsremotesupport-group@sdale.org. The HMS remote support team will be checking these emails daily and responding to questions.

We STRONGLY encourage students to complete the daily work ON the day intended, not before.

Every week, we will post team information through these links. We are doing this to try and simplify communication. So be sure and check here EVERY WEEK!

The traffic pattern on the west side of our building (6th graders) can be a little overwhelming the first time you do it. Please remember two things:

1. When you get to the merging point of the three lanes, cars should take turns merging from the far right (grassy side) to the far left. Cars should merge lane 1, lane 2, lane 3, repeat.
2. When you get to the loading zone, pull forward as far as you can to allow as many cars to load as possible.

Every week we want to introduce you to fabulous Heroes that work at Hellstern. We have some of the best teachers and staff in the world and can't wait for you to get to know them!

Please remember, AAA guidelines & the governor's mask mandate require us to wear masks to all of the athletic events. Help keep our seasons going - mask up!!
