Dear Farnham Families,

This week, our campus has been full of color and joy as our TK and Kindergarten students kicked off their Color Days! Each day has been filled with excitement as our youngest learners explore and celebrate through color. To close out the week, Friday is BLUE for Farnham! We invite all students, staff, and families to show their Farnham pride by wearing blue and joining in the celebration of learning.

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our Farnham Giving Campaign. Your generosity is already making a difference on campus. Thanks to your support, our Home and School Club has:

• Sponsored engaging school-wide assemblies

• Provided stipends for all staff to create vibrant and welcoming learning spaces

• Supported field trips currently being planned and prepared

• Supplied resources for our FabLab, Art Room, and Garden

• Purchased all the school supplies needed to kick off the school year

We are so grateful for our community’s commitment to giving our Falcons the very best learning experiences.

Looking ahead, we’ll start next week with Picture Day on Monday! Be sure your student is ready to show off their best smile for the camera.

Thank you for making Farnham a safe place where students learn to solve problems, make good decisions, and show respect for all.

Hello Fabulous Farnham Families!

We want to start out by thanking those of you who have already donated to our annual Giving Campaign for your generosity, but we need your help! We have reached 13% of our $40,000 but need your support to raise the rest of the funds that will allow us to do great things like fund field trips and assemblies, class level supplies, Starting Arts and so much more! We hope you will consider and give today.

As we head into the middle of September, the HSC is looking for volunteers to help in many ways. We have:

Make a difference in the lives of your child and their peers by volunteering to be a Project Cornerstone instructor. For about 2 hours per month, you can help build stronger relationships by reading selected books and leading classroom activities and discussions with a focus on respect, tolerance, peaceful conflict resolution, caring, and friendship.

Sign up with your child’s teacher. All books and project materials are provided by the Project Cornerstone Team at Farnham.

The Cambrian School District is proud to collaborate with Fresno State Parent University to offer free online courses for our parent community. This innovative partnership focuses on building community capacity through engagement, involvement, and professional development. Through these courses, participants are empowered to explore new socioeconomic opportunities, equipping them with skills to contribute meaningfully to their families, schools, communities, and beyond. Together, we are fostering a stronger, more resilient community.

School Absences:

If your child will be absent or tardy, please call the automated 24 hour attendance line before the school day begins. Absences not cleared will be recorded as a truancy. Farnham's 24 hour automated attendance line is 408-377-3321 EXT 4102.

Medical Updates And Medications For 2025-2026 School Year:

Please provide updated medical forms for children with medical concerns and medication requirements for the 2025-2026 school year. The forms are available on the Cambrian District website's Enrollment Page. Please bring the updated and signed form(s), along with the medication, to the Health Office when school begins. A medication authorization form is required for both prescription and over-the-counter medicines. All medication must be in the original container, labeled by the pharmacist, with clear instructions for administration. O-T-C medications must be new in the sealed packaging.

All morning snack and lunches will be complimentary (no cost) for the entire 2025-26 school year. Even though school meals are free this year, we encourage you to complete the meal application to take advantage of additional benefits for you and your family, while also helping with school funding.
