This year we have been provided the opportunity to be apart of Capturing Kids Hearts (CKH). This month we will be discussing TEAMWORK: Better Together throughout the school and learning how to work together every day.
Fox Hollow Families,
It has been amazing having your students the first few months. We are so privileged to have such great families. As we go into conferences this week, it is our sincere hope that you hear how much your child belongs here and is an integral part of our FHE family. Thank you for trusting us with your child's education and supporting us the way you do.

Parents, if your child will be joining us in the mornings for breakfast, please know we open the doors at 7:40 am. We allow all kids in for breakfast at 7:40 so they can have plenty of time too eat. Please send them to the front doors and tell them to ring the doorbell and tell us they are here for breakfast. If they arrive early, we do not let them into the cafe until 7:40. We have had many kids come in after 7:50 for breakfast and then end up being tardy to class. Also, if your child rides the bus and they need breakfast please remind them to go straight to the cafe when they get here. We do send kids to class at 7:55 so they can get to their classroom on time. Thank you for your help!
Food For Friends supplies nutritious food for our own Fox Hollow families and those among our CCSD community who may otherwise not have access to a balanced meal. If your family is in need, a bag is discreetly placed in your child’s backpack on Fridays (or the last school day of the week) for them to take home. We are very diligent in the fact that no one knows if we are sending food home. We can also schedule a time for an adult to pick up the bag of food on Friday. PE Update
Hello! Our 1st – 5th Grade P.E. classes are doing a variety of skills and sports right now. When you talk to your student(s), they will be able to tell you what they have covered. All students have completed basketball. Our next unit (that some have started) is hockey! All students get to practice stick handling, passing, and shooting on goals. The older classes enjoy playing a foosball style hockey game at the end of the week!
Kindergarten students have moved on to a variety of tag games! And when I say variety, there is a LARGE variety! These games work on spatial awareness, kindness, cooperation, strategy, and aerobic activity! Be sure to talk to your kindergartner about, Knights and Dragons and SpongeBob Tag - just to name a couple!
Just a friendly reminder that we will have Field Day in May. Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 7, 2026! This fun-filled day is a student favorite and we LOVE to have lots of parent volunteers for it! There will be more information about this in 2026!

Music Updates...
Greetings from the music classroom!
I have a request this month!
I would love to expand my musical knowledge with songs and/or dances from your culture/country. I'd love to learn some songs from your culture to see if they might work for culturally-relevant teaching in my music classroom! If you are interested in sharing a song you grew up with or was important to your family traditions, please send me an email or stop me at morning crosswalk. We can set up a time to meet, or you can send me a link to a video/song.

Art Update
The Art to Remember site is now active!
Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school.
