Parent Celebration Night: October 23 | Attendance & Hispanic Heritage Celebration
Dear College Park Families,
We are excited to invite you to a very special evening on Wednesday, October 23rd from 5:00–7:00 PM as we celebrate our parents and families who continue to make a difference every day!
This month, we’re recognizing the 287 families whose children maintained satisfactory attendance during the first nine weeks of school. Your consistency matters. Every quarter of strong attendance adds up to student success!
Thanks to our School Governance Council (SGC), families who attend this event will be entered into a raffle for a House sweatshirt representing their child’s House. Each four-week period of strong attendance brings another chance to win, and in May, families who maintain excellent attendance all year will be entered into a grand raffle for additional prizes!
This first quarter’s celebration will also honor Hispanic Heritage Month, featuring music, culture, and connection. Come out to enjoy food, fellowship, and an evening of celebration as we honor our families and share how you can continue to be recognized throughout the year.
We look forward to seeing you on October 23rd, 5:00PM–7:00 PM , let’s celebrate culture, community, and commitment to attendance!

Qustodio: A New Tool for Families to Monitor and Manage Your Child’s Online Activity
As part of our ongoing efforts to support digital safety, we’re excited to share that Fulton County Schools will launch Qustodio on October 20th, a free app that helps parents monitor and manage their child’s online activity. This tool gives families insight into how students use both district-issued and personal devices.
- For district-issued devices:
· Parents can see how much time their child spends online, which apps are being used, and what searches are conducted during the school day.
· Families can also set time limits and restrictions outside of normal school hours to encourage healthy screen time habits.
- For student personal devices (optional):
· Parents can choose to install Qustodio on personal devices to monitor usage and set limits at home.
· Fulton County Schools does not have any visibility or access to data from student or parent/guardian personal devices — that information is visible only to the parent or guardian who installs the app.

Spotlight on Pre-K Week
Pre-K Week was full of BIG moments for our littlest learners at College Park Elementary! 🧡📚
From a special guest reader who brought stories to life, to exciting visits from the Fire Department 🚒 (hello, fire safety!) and the College Park Police Department 👮🏽♂️ (learning all about good citizenship), our Pre-K students had a week to remember.
They even took a fun-filled field trip to the library 📖 and rolled up their sleeves to become little scientists, mixing up some ooey-gooey slime! 🧪✨
We’re so proud to celebrate our amazing Pre-K students.
