Color Day Friends!
Start saving those Strack's receipts!
Stracks Receipts Contest – Help Your Child’s Class Win!
Each month, our classrooms compete to collect the most Strack's grocery receipts, and the winning class is recognized and celebrated! It’s a fun way to build school spirit while supporting our students. Every receipt you send in helps us earn dollars that go directly toward classroom items that support your child’s learning like books, supplies, and educational materials. Let’s work together to make a difference one receipt at a time!
You can scan boxtops for our school to earn money for prizes & class incentives!
We kept him from driving the bus... Now we learned how to draw him!!!
Look at all these amazing Pigeons! This week in library the kiddos read more Pigeons books, learned how Pigeon is hidden in every Mo Willems book, and then got to do a guided drawing of none other than Pigeon himself!! Look how amazing they did!!!
And we are off!!!
The kids are doing such a FANTASIC job with their procedures every day and we are in the full swing of learning. Here are some of the goals we are looking to achieve during the first quarter!
The ELC is a Title I School.
You should have all received a letter in the mail this week with all the important information on Title I. We need ALL parents to sign and return that letter to school in your child's folder ASAP! The home school compact is shown below for reference.
iReady Begins 9/2/25
Our students will begin using i-Ready this week! i-Ready is an online program that helps us understand your child’s reading and math skills through fun, interactive lessons. It’s a great way to support individualized learning in the classroom.
Dyslexia Screener 9/24 &9/25
As part of early literacy screening, Kindergarten students will participate in a brief Dyslexia Screener later this month. This helps us identify early reading needs so we can better support every child’s growth. It’s quick, age-appropriate, and administered in a calm, supportive environment.
