Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,

I hope the first weeks of school have gotten off to a smooth start for all of our students, families, and staff. I have been all across the district and have seen so many smiling faces in the past two weeks! Truly it is a pleasure to have our students and staff back in our buildings, bringing them to life with purpose and potential.

As we enter this holiday weekend, I hope you will take a few minutes to enjoy the photos and articles below as we share just some of the start of the year excitement across the district, including the article about the exciting Birthday Box initiative being launched during the month of September by our partners at the District 95 Educational Foundation. This district-wide project will bring birthday celebrations to families in need right here in Lake Zurich and throughout Lake County - so please join in and help to make it a success!

We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday; please stay safe over the long weekend.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kelley Gallt

Superintendent
