Welcome Mr. Ingenito

We are proud to introduce you to our new Middle School Social Studies Teacher, Mr. Antonio Ingenito. We asked Mr. Ingenito to tell us a little bit about himself:

"Hello, my name is Antonio Ingenito and I am honored and humbled to be a part of the DeSales Family. I want to take a moment to thank everyone for welcoming me to this wonderful family that we have here at DeSales! I am looking forward to being able to teach all of your wonderful children. I not only enjoy teaching Social Studies, I also want to instill a passion for learning history to all the students here at DeSales. One of the main reasons I wanted to become a Social Studies teacher was that as a young child my grandfather would tell me stories of WW2. I always loved listening to the stories, trying to imagine what it must have been like. In listening to his stories, they piqued my interest and passion in wanting to learn more about history as a whole.

A little bit about me… I am from Italian descent, who was born and raised in Buffalo, which then moved to the Williamsville area. My educational background started through the Williamsville School District, then proceeded through the University at Buffalo earning my Bachelor degree in History. I then went on to receive my Master of Science and Education at Canisius College. I am someone who is a huge sports fanatic who loves the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. My interests are; football, soccer, and golf. I hope to one day coach either football or soccer. I am excited and looking forward to a great 2022-23 school year!"
