Fair Ways to Play

Students learned three ways to play: Sharing, Taking Turns, Trading. Students examine two kindergarten students who are each playing with dinosaurs during indoor recess time. One of the students is playing with the class's only two big dinosaurs for awhile. The other student is playing with three little dinosaurs, but wants to play with the big dinosaurs too. Is this fair?

Being Feelings Detectives, our kindergarten students recognize that this isn't fair to the student who wants to play with the big dinosaurs, and offer solutions to his problem. Students listen to the Fair Ways to Play song and then practice Sharing, Taking Turns with a partner with toy dinosaurs. Students wrapped up with practicing Rock, Paper, Scissors and Dinosaur Breathing that can used in the Regulation Station.

Great job Kindergarteners!
