🚨Melrose and Charlotte Walkers
I am noticing an increased amount of cars parked on Melrose to pick up students.
Please be respectful of our neighbors. Parking on Melrose is not an acceptable practice.
If you need to drive to pick up your child, please join the car line.

🌟BCSD PRIDE Awards
Congratulations to our students who were recently recognized with a PRIDE Award! These students demonstrated one of our PRIDE Expectations—Performance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, or Effort. We are so proud of the positive choices they make each day and the example they set for others. Keep shining, Blue Devils!
🏡House Meeting💙
Our House meetings are opportunities for our students to learn from each other, get to know community members outside their classrooms, and work together to support others. This past Friday, our students gathered with their House buddies to create heartfelt Veterans Day cards for local veterans receiving care at the VA hospital. Seeing our older and younger students collaborate, share creative ideas, and show such meaningful gratitude for our nation's heroes was a wonderful reminder of the strong, compassionate community we are building together.
National School Psychology Week
This week, we recognize Mrs. Cannon and Ms. Fox in celebration of
National School Psychology Week!
We are so grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication they bring to Kidder each day.
Their work supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students makes such a meaningful difference in our school community.
Thank you, Mrs. Cannon and Ms. Fox, for being such an important part of our Kidder community!

🚨Important Car Line Reminder for K-5
Front of the Line
DISMISSAL ONLY
Back of the Line
DISMISSAL ONLY
🚗K-5 Car Line Update - The Double Line
Thank you for helping us create a new procedure with our "starting double line". See pictures below.
The second line is ONLY to start the process.
The car that reaches the cones or the last orange line is the LAST car in the second line, near the grass area. DO NOT join this line if there is a car in this spot.
🚨The spots for the double line will be designated by orange lines. Once these spots are filled, DO NOT continue with a double line in the circle area.🚨 Adding 8 additional spots near the front of the line will help keep cars off of Grafton Rd. See picture below.
Entering K-5 Car Line
DO NOT block the last parking spot. Instead, start or join the 2nd line within these parking spaces. WHY? You are causing traffic to back up onto Grafton.
Turning Right
This is WHY we need everyone to turn RIGHT when exiting. If you are waiting to turn left, you are holding up traffic all the way back to the circle area.
🚶🏻♀️Walkers - Melrose and Charlotte
Parents/Guardians walking up and picking up students from Melrose and Charlotte - Visitors are NOT permitted to enter the sidewalk where students are standing and waiting for their cars. Please remain on the grass near the visitor parking spots.
Driving your car into the back parking lot from Melrose to pick up your child is strictly prohibited. We have buses and vans entering. When you drive through the parking lot, you are blocking bus traffic. We also have an agreement and partnership with our neighbors to limit traffic on Melrose. Parking on Melrose to pick up your child is strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
🚨School Age Students with PreSchool Siblings - Fridays
K-5 students with PreSchool siblings will follow the SAME routine on Fridays when PreSchool students are not on campus. Meaning, the routine you follow for arrival and dismissal Monday-Thursday will remain the same on Fridays.
