If your child needs a picture retake, mark your calendar for Monday, October 27!

🎃 Vote in Our Pumpkin Contest!
Our pumpkin voting contest is underway! Be sure to participate below and help us choose your favorite. We can’t wait to see which pumpkin takes the top spot!

🏆 Nominate an Educator for the Excellence in Education Awards
There’s still time to recognize an outstanding educator or support staff member in Kewaunee County! If there’s someone who has made a difference for your child, family, or school community, consider taking a few minutes to nominate them.

🧼 AES PTS Soaps, Suds & Scents Fundraiser
There’s still time to participate in the AES PTS fundraiser! Orders for Soaps, Suds & Scents are due Monday, October 26. Thank you for supporting AES PTS and all they do for our students!

Morning Arrival Reminder❗

A quick reminder that school doors open at 7:45 a.m. Please plan accordingly, as there is no supervision available outside before 7:45 a.m. For the safety of all students, please do not drop students off or have them arrive on school grounds unsupervised before this time. Thank you for helping us ensure a safe and smooth start to the school day!

Pumpkin Decoring Contest -- Vote Now! 🎃

Our students have been busy creating some amazing pumpkins in their homerooms, and now it's time to vote! 🎃

AES PTS Soaps, Suds & Scents Fundraiser

The AES PTS is excited to kick off this year’s 🧼 Soaps, Suds & Scents Fundraiser 🫧 in partnership with Millie’s Pub & Grub, Kwik Trip, and Queen Bee Handmade Soaps!

Students received fundraising forms on Friday, so be sure to check backpacks for details! The sale runs from Monday, October 12, through Monday, October 26, with orders expected to arrive the week of November 23.

Kewaunee County Excellence in Education Awards 🏆

The Algoma School District is excited to be part of something new across Kewaunee County that celebrates our outstanding employees that work in the education field. This collaborative effort between Algoma, Kewaunee, and Luxemburg-Casco School Districts as well as our parochial schools is designed to recognize talented educators and support staff members across the community who go above and beyond to inspire, support, and make a positive impact on our students and school community every day.

We invite you to nominate a colleague (teacher, student services team member, or support staff employee) in the Algoma School District that has made a positive impact on your child’s education by completing this online form. Nominations will be accepted through October 23, 2026.

The Algoma School District will have one educator and one support staff member be selected as our winners that will be recognized in spring. Thank you for your continued support of our schools and educators.

WSPEI’s October Newsletter: The Connector

The Wisconsin Statewide Parent Educator Initiative (WSPEI) is a fantastic resource for families with students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The Connector highlights upcoming learning and networking events, conferences, and valuable resources from Disability Rights Wisconsin and WI FACETS. WSPEI supports positive, collaborative relationships between families and educators—check out this month’s newsletter to stay informed and connected!
