Principal's Message

Happy Friday Cougar Families,

Today marks the end of the first grading period of the school year. Our progress reports are designed to communicate to our families how their students are achieving midway through the quarter. For many, it is affirmation and validation that the energy they are committing toward their education is being appropriately rewarded. For some it may serve as an opportunity to recalibrate and recommit. Please engage in conversation with your students about their academic progress and encourage them to do what they need to do to finish the quarter strong. Teachers will be submitting their grades today and they will be sent by email to you by the end of the day on Thursday.

Lastly, I hope that everyone enjoys the long weekend ahead. Labor Day is a reminder of all the hard work you put in, so make sure to take some time for yourself and recharge!

Have a safe and relaxing 3 day weekend.

Dr. Parr

'Til Death Do Us Part

You are invited to the most offbeat wedding of the season, where murder takes center stage and all the guests are suspects. Neither the groom's parents nor the bride's former boyfriend want the marriage to happen. The family lawyer has a little something up his sleeve and it might involve an enigmatic guest who dies mysteriously before revealing who she really is. When the lawyer is also murdered, amateur sleuth Miss Peabody conducts an investigation punctuated by the traditional wedding events in which the audience can also participate, such as throwing the bouquet, cutting of the cake, and dancing. But each moment brings Miss Peabody a step closer to the identity of a ruthless killer consumed by greed. With the audience's help in finding clues during intermission, all but the killer will live happily ever after.

Come be the best sleuth in town on September, 24th, at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $20 per seat, dinner will be included.

Drive Safe - the Cougar Way

Friendly reminder to please drive cautiously when entering and exiting campus. Our Campus Supervisors are here to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently, and we appreciate your cooperation in following all directions from security personnel. When approaching the school from east Campo Road, please do not drive on the shoulder and allow vehicles to merge into the right-turn lane just before the school entrance. When waiting in traffic lines, please “close the gap” so we can accommodate as many vehicles as possible entering and exiting campus. Please also note that vehicle access at the back of the school is not available during the school day. Thank you for your patience and partnership in keeping our campus safe.
