WCMS Spelling Bee
Students, it's time for you to show your S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G skills. The school spelling bee is right around the corner. Your ELA teachers will be holding the class spelling bees next week (week of October 26). The top two students from every homeroom will advance to the grade level Bee to be held in November. The study words and definitions will be distributed to the two classroom winners.
Again the grade level Bee will take place in November and the School Spelling Bee will be in December. The school winner and an alternate will advance to the district's Spelling Bee.
We wish you all the best in your Spelling endeavors.

Pre-Work Collaborative Planning Meetings
Teachers,
When you come to collaborative planning each week, you will need to have completed your pre work. You will need to come with activities you plan to use for all areas of your instructional framework. They must be aligned to the standards, LT and success criteria. How will you check for understanding? How will you provide opportunities for students to know/show mastery. Remember to plan using our universal instructional strategies: aggressive monitoring, precise directions/positive narration, and student discourse. SPED department, come prepared to incorporate SDI during planning sessions.
